TaeKwonDo - From the Korean language, TaeKwonDo literally means “the way of the foot and hand.” Centuries old Martial Arts techniques are combined in a way to result in a lifestyle and curriculum that offers a modern method of self-defense and a path to attainment of the Black Belt. We use several primary activities to learn Martial Arts in general. They are Forms, Sparring, Breaking, and Competition.
Sport Karate - Is a modern phenomenon that encapsulates the primary result but may offer development of self-defense skills through the practice of precise motor skills. The two basic skills in a competitive event are forms and sparring.
Sport karate is a form of competition played by gentle people who possess special and spirited skills. The historical and modern practices of Martial Arts require dedicated study, practice and self control. Sport Karate is the most respected arena for the display of martial Skill. There are many tournaments and league circuits through which players can achieve standing and championships.
Jujitsu/Judo - Jujitsu/Judo is a combination of throwing, grappling (group fighting) and striking techniques based on Dr. Kano's fundamental principle of maximum efficiency. Employing this basic principle of Jujitsu/Judo enables a person of lesser size and strength to defeat a larger and stronger opponent.
Cardio Karate - Cardio Karate uses music and excitement combined with martial arts techniques and self-defense movements with high energy music. Cardio Karate is a rhythmic routine that burns calories utilizing martial art movements to tone up your muscles.
Little Dragons - The Little Dragons Program is a detailed curriculum that focuses on improving preschool-age children’s basic motor skills. These skills will help them enter society with a more confident and enthusiastic outlook. They will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious towards the future. We believe the time between the ages of 3 & 6 are the most important years of a child’s development. Our program will enhance positive development in a fun and motivating way.
Kicking Tigers - The Kicking Tigers Program is a detailed curriculum that focuses on developing fitness and Martial Arts skills in children ages 5 to 7 years of age. They learn discipline, respect and confidence. They are consistently improving their flexibility, coordination, and overall body strength. The Kicking Tigers will become better students at school, better listeners at home and more ambitious towards the future. Our program will enhance positive development in a fun and motivating way.
After School Program - Champion Sport Karate offers a very unique after school program that consists of 60 minutes of exercise and character building programs each day. CSK provides transportation from all schools in the Papillion area.
Weapons Programs -
Womens Only - The Women’s Only program gives women ages 16 and over an environment that is specifically designed to develop Self-Confidence, Fitness and Self-Defense. This combination of Cardio Karate and Tae Kwon Do seams to fit the needs of all women looking to train in Martial Arts.
Summer Boot Camps - Three one week long boot camps are offered each summer for kids ages 6 to 15. Camp begins at 8:00 a.m. each day to 5:00 p.m. To sign up complete the registration form and turn it into the front desk.
